Tips and Tricks: Closed Friend list and Interests list on Facebook!

Today my best friend and I have an hour of fighting on silly but noticeable topic. Yes, he had posted one post for me on facebook and I didn’t get any notification but he had assumed that I have seen his post which results in conflict for an hour.

So, I don’t want same to happen with you so just wanted to share one of the features about facebook which help in such kind of stuff.

As a facebook user we should know every nook and corner of our facebook home page. Facebook is now trying to giving many features which can just revoked our some of the efforts of scrolling.

• Closed Friend List

Location: At left side of your screen above Apps and below Groups.

Procedure: Here you can create a list just by clicking on it and adding your closed friend in the list.

Benefits: This is very useful as just by clicking on this list we can get each and every post posted by our closed friend even though you don’t get any notifications.

And yes you need not to keep on scrolling on your home page to see your friend’s post. Just follow above guideline that’s it!

• Interests List

Location: At left side of your screen above friends on chats.

Procedure: Just check the interest list option at left bottom of your page. If you are already using this feature then it will so you your interest list name otherwise by default facebook recommend for you.

Benefits: This is really awesome feature if you can use it efficiently. This is also very useful for students, business man, advertisers, blogger, etc as follows:

Students: Student, who like to study online keep on following the different sites page to make sure that they don’t miss anything. Using this feature student can make his interest list as “Important Topic” and select all those page in this list which he don’t want to missed.

Business Man: As facebook is growing so fast many corporate company are using facebook to promote their brand and architecture. So, they can make list named “Promoter and advertiser” and select those entire pages which should be included to keep track for promotion and advertiser.

Blogger: As a blogger, we need to follow and read many blog’s facebook page which can become overwhelmed when there is lots of comment and shares by your friend. Just like business man, student – blogger can also create page for the page which they follow, so that they don’t missed any important share post from their friend, clients, etc.

This is really an awesome feature of facebook which will help us to stay in tune with the world around us!
