For every Blog owner traffic is one of the factor to decide the popularity of their blog. Most of the newbie left blogging due to the reason, their blog is not getting the traffic that they have expected. Getting desired traffic is not easy at all, it requires hardwork and patient too. Here I will share the common mistakes that leads to less traffic.

• Boring Content

Content is the key for every blog to get good amount of traffic. Providing unique and quality content should be the aim of every blogger. Your readers will read your content only if they find it interesting and also they will come back again, if your content is boring your reader may leave your blog and won’t come back again.

So to make your visitor turn into regular visitor you should try making your content interesting and worth to read.

• Bad Design & Navigation

Look of the blog matters a lot, if your blog is not looking neat and clean, this may leads your visitor to run away. Also more attractive your blog will be the more visitors will be engaged and this will help you to reduce your blog’s bounce Rate.

Your blog’s navigation should be simple, if it is complex and readers finding it difficult to navigate through, then this also leads to  lesser traffic.

So try to make your blog’s looks and design attractive and professional, and also try to make your navigation structure as simple as possible.

• Placement of ads

As a blogger every one wants to make some money, so you place ads. but the fact is that, none of your reader likes ads and so you should be careful in placing ads. Like if your blog is showing ads while landing in popup, this may leads your visitor to distract towards ads rather than your blog.

So you should place ads properly to avoid distraction.

• Unnecessary Popups

This also gives bad impression on your visitors, some blogger keep popups like, Like us on Facebook, Follow Us on Twitter. This puts bad impression on your visitor, rather putting popups and making your visitor like your Fan Pages, You should try to give them quality content and they will automatically become your Fan’s.
